Auntie Snaps Gourmet Cookies

Auntie Snaps Gourmet Cookies was looking to set themselves apart in a crowded market. In order to feel authentic, the brand needed a voice of warmth, one that reminded you of childhood and the smell of fresh baked cookies right out of the oven. I created a grandmotherly figure in Auntie Snaps. Her familial wisdom and affection served to elevate the brand on social media.

Inspiration

While I wanted to retain the rustic charm of Auntie Snaps' Texan-roots, I drew inspiration from the hand-tooled lettering of French bakeries, and shabby chic decor, which gave the brand a more vintage appeal. Again the goal was to bring forth a nostalgic feeling -- A humble reminder of the simple, sweeter pleasures of yesteryear.

Auntie Says is a series of posts for the brand's Facebook Page; a lyrical embodiment of Auntie's wise spirit and wholesome nature. Auntie always knows best.
